QUALITY

Wild Appetite, one of New Zealand’s leading fine food manufacturers prides
itself with producing a range of premium quality sauces, dressings, marinades and
condiments for both the local and export market.

We take nothing for granted, and therefore we require systems and practices to be
in place to ensure quality parameters are recorded and controlled throughout the
complete process of food production, from selection of ingredients to delivery to
our customers’ premises.

To manufacture a top end quality product requires selecting the most appropriate
ingredients and packaging to produce a finished product that not only tastes great,
but utilises natural ingredients wherever possible, without containing artificial
colour, flavours and preservatives.

We prefer to use fresh ingredients as opposed to processed forms within our
process. This facilitates in the production of optimum taste and flavour in our
finished products.

Our complete processes at Wild Appetite are audited annually to ensure
compliance with NZ Food Safety Authority, whereby we strive to improve overall
value of our products and processes.

Many of our products have won several international awards, and to date the
company has a total of fourteen LONDON GREAT TASTE AWARDS, the
latest being seven gold awards in 2011 over seven product categories, which is
justification that our products are up with the best in the world in regards to taste
and flavour.

Quality improvement is a continuous evolution, and at Wild Appetite we clearly
acknowledge that yesterday quality standards will not be the same for tomorrow’s
ever changing consumers and market conditions.

Our team at Wild Appetite think and breed quality in all facets and functions
of the operation, to strive for the best we can offer the consumer at the value
consumers are prepared to pay for our products.

New product and process development forms part of our continuous improvement
programme and we all get excited in releasing new products to the market as much
as customers enjoy tasting a new product for the first time.

When everyone is committed to the same goal, the company continues to grow
and succeed.
